Accounting can be described as a way to communicate the financial health of a business or an organization to any and all interested parties. It is a way of accessing the assets, liabilities and cash flow, or the future of an entity for all current and future investors.


Business



Studying for a business and management studies degree allows you to develop a broad understanding of business organisations and provides you with subject-specific knowledge in areas such as markets, customers, finance, operations, communication, information technology and business policy and strategy.


Marketing



A marketing degree is a type of academic degree awarded to students who have completed a college, university, or business school program with a focus on marketing research, marketing strategy, marketing management, marketing science, or a related area in the marketing field.


Hotel Management



The curriculum in hotel management focuses on hotel administration and hospitality but could be expanded to culinary arts, cruise ship operations and casino operations. Programs might teach some of the more technical aspects of hotel management.


Commercial Cookery



Commercial cooking is generally refers to any cooking or food production that happens on a large scale where the product is intended to be sold, such as at a restaurant or a factory. Commercial cooking is simply cooking for other people, provided that they'll be compensated for the service rendered. Examples are cooking in restaurants, cafeterias, canteens etc.


Patisserie



A pastry chef or patissier is a station chef in a professional kitchen, skilled in the making of pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods. They are employed in large hotels, bistros, restaurants, bakeries, and some cafes.


Engineering



Engineering is the creative application of science, mathematical methods, and empirical evidence to the innovation, design, construction, and maintenance of stuructures, machines, materials, devices, systems, processes, and organizations. The discipline of engineering encompasses a broad range of more specialized fields of engineering.


Information Technology



Information Technology (IT) or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a broad subject which deals with technology and other aspects of managing and processing information, especially in large organizations, it can be considered a sub-discipline of computing.


Aviation



A degree in aviation science prepares you for a career in the aerospace, aviation or airline business. For prospective pilots, an aviation course can be the perfect way to initiate a long and successful career. This coursework includes a variety of essential training for pilots, including those seeking employment with commercial airlines and preparation for flight instructor programs.



Pharmacy



Although pharmacology is essential to the study of pharmacy, it is not specific to pharmacy. Both disciplines are distinct. Those who wish to practice both pharmacy (patient oriented) and pharmacology (a biomedical science requiring the scientific method) receive separate training and degrees unique to either discipline.

Medical



A medical degree is a vocational or technical degree awarded for studies in fields associated with medicine. Medical doctors (MDs) are physicians who work in hospitals, clinics, medical centers, or private practices. MDs treat people for illnesses and injuries. They also prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, diagnose ailments, and record patient information.


Nursing



Nursing is a profession within the health care sector focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life. Nurses may be differentiated from other health care providers by their approach to patient care, training, and scope of practice.
